Dorset Group 9 Jun 19: Bulbarrow Hill and Milton Abbas

On one of the highest points in Dorset 12 walkers gathered to enjoy 9 miles of lush green pathways through sheltered valleys on a day when any threatened showers steered well clear of us.

Our lunch stop was the idyllic village of Milton Abbas. We then moved on to look at historic Milton Abbey and its adjoining school, before tackling the one steep climb of the day up to Greenhill Down nature reserve. Then back to our starting point at Bulbarrow Hill with its sweeping views over Blackmore Vale.
