Dorset Group 30May21. Jurassic Coast: Dancing Ledge and Seacombe Bottom

On a very sunny day 15 of us plus Bruno the dog started our walk up Primrose Hill seeing two large deer on route to Langton Matravers. We then carried on past Toms Field camp site where the stile we needed to cross was blocked by a large brown cow with very large horns. Thankfully Derek managed to get the cow to move for us. We then arrived at Dancing Ledge which was very busy with many people climbing the cliffs. We proceeded to Worth Matravers where most of us sat on the hill in the sunshine looking out to sea and had our picnic lunch, some went to the Square and Compass pub. After lunch we walk back past the wooden Henge to Harmans Cross and had tea in Laurence’s garden.
