Having met at the NT car park at the top of the hill 7 of us proceeded down the valley looking out to sea where 5 Cruise ships were anchored up. We strolled through the woods towards Weymouth crossing a ford at Spring Bottom. Walking up over fields and along lanes we arrived at the PGL Adventure Centre where we started our return along the coastal path. We passed the deserted Smugglers Inn which was open for booked lunches only to enjoy our picnic lunch in the now sunshine on nearby cliffs. Continuing along the coast to Ringstead Bay we stopped for a ice cream break before climbing the footpath up the hill to the car park where people were hand gliding. Afterwards we all went to Andrews home for tea and cakes in his beautiful garden.
