Dorset Group: 29 Apr 18

On a cold, windy overcast day more befitting December than April our brave band of 12 set off from the old quarry above Kimmeridge along the ridge path into the Army Firing Ranges. Having traversed Tyneham Cap and Gad Cliff we descended to meet the sea at Worbarrow Bay where we were photobombed by an enormous black dog.

A stroll up the gwyle through woods covered in flowering wild garlic brought us to Tyneham Ghost Village where we picnicked and explored. Climbing back over Tyneham Cap we descended to picturesque Kimmeridge Bay ending at Clavell's restaurant in the village for a well earned late lunch/early tea.
