On a blustery last day of spring our band of 10 assembled at the chain ferry end of Studland beach. Having crossed the marshes we emerged onto the beautiful wide stretching sands only to disappear into the dunes admiring the spectacular heathland landscape.
We emerged from the dunes at the nudist beach which was unusually empty due to the fresh weather conditions. As we strolled along the shoreline we spotted numerous enormous jellyfish washed up from the deep. After a warming coffee break we disappeared into the woods to find the hide overlooking the inland 'little sea' which has recently been populated by enormous carp.
A stroll back through the dunes and then finally along the sea shore brought us back to the start. An enjoyable day was completed with a sumptuous BBQ back at our leader's house in Herston.
