<2>Deligthful Doddington, the start of the new autumn schedule
Gathering again after the glorious summer felt like the start of the new season.
Beginning at Doddington church (which has a unique dedication to The Beheading of St John the Baptist) across the newly harvested fields to Kingsdown church, paid for by Lord Kingsdown. Through the orchards finding some ripe fruits of the forest, hunting a lost mobile phone, then to Rodmersham green for an excellent lunch-stop. On the return loop, back past the church, then Lynsted church and Lynsted park where half the party managed to get lost along the paths deep in the woodland. At the end a wise owl looked somewhat knowingly at a group of gay boys getting lost in the forest.
Another wonderful day, planned by our 'worthy leader' Roy.
