Derbyshire walk

East Midlands Derbyshire Walk

Offered by Carl and Martin

Thirteen people and one dog set out on a 9.5 mile walk on a sunny autumn day, including two new members, we headed along the Cromford canal until we stopped for lunch at High Peak Junction. From there the hard work began, as we steadily climbed up the Derbyshire hills into woodlands returning along the Mid-shires way, taking in some of the stunning views that Derbyshire has to offer, before taking care of the tricky desend back to the car park where some walkers headed off for a well deserved drink at the local pub.
