Brockenhurst (January 2018)

On Sunday 21st January, 2018, nine handsone young chaps set out in the rain and cold to face eight miles of puddles and bog around the New Forest village of Brockenhurst.

Taking their chances with the walk leader whose ideas about the route changed with the weather, they bravely mustered on. After taking shelter under a clump of trees for a quick lunch break they navigated the overflowing river Lym with varying degrees of success!

Despite the inclement weather and conditions underfoot, a good time was had by all and in fact I think the conditions added to the enjoyment of the occasion and to the camaraderie of the group.
