Led by Chris Weller who described it as "old rural England at its best." With the fruit farms of Kent, the hop fields and the orchards full of ripening fruit, it was glorious and a great day for walking, not too hot and sunny and a cool breeze.
Starting at Selling, through Old Wives Lees, along part of the North Downs Way and back through the Denstroud Forest an excellent and varied terrain. Oast houses, churches and old English villages and hamlets, plus panoramic vistas. Pub, pic-nic ... and lots of cake!
Great to see some of our London friends as well as welcoming some new people to the group.
