Thanks to John H who led a 25 strong band of happy walkers, and Max the dog on this hottest day of the year ..... so far, through the beautiful Cotswold countryside, from the beautiful golden stoned Tudor manor at Chastleton, across the undulating hills to the 'poetical' village of Adelstrop (with a well stocked ice cream cabinet at the village shop). On then to Daylesford Church, where before lunch Jon S, filled us in with the details about this important Gothic Revival building, after which we had a moment to drop in to the famous Daylesford 'Farm' Shop, for a little retail exposure. We made our way back to the start through the lovely 'chocolate box' village of Cornwell, and a well earnt beverage at the 'Greedy Goose'
