<2>Nettleham walk
Sunday 11th March
A total of 12 members for today’s walk, including 3 new ladies and a new gentlemen. Nice to meet up all and hope to see you again soon.
Following the recent bad weather up in North Lincs, we were blessed by sunshine for our 8.6 mile walk today, kindly led by John Stones. However, the recent snow and rain had left some of the going slippy underfoot, and a farmer had recently ploughed his field but not flattened the path across this field, so the going was very rough ground.
It was lovely to have our sandwiches in the sunshine in a lovely park full of snowdrops in bloom and daffodils about to burst into bloom. Spring is here at last.
