Eleven of us from Cornwall really did go in search of the lost church this month- that of our Cornish Patron Saint St Piran. Led by Martin we began heading to Bolingey, then St Pirans Round before going northwards to the lost church of St Piran at Penhale Sands. After this and stopping for lunch it was time to carry on in the dunes passing St Pirans Cross towards the coast where the final part of the walk was across Perranporth beach itself. Of course we finished off with a light beverage in one of the many pubs Perranporth has to offer. A special thanks to Martin for leading us.
