Bodmin to Respryn, Lanhydrock and back again

Our GOC group walk from Bodmin to Respryn, Lanhydrock and back again. We walked 10.5 miles in 4 hours 15 minutes, taking several stops to enjoy the views, flowers, photos and dogs splashing in the river.
We sat at Bodmin parkway Railway Station for our lunch and we're thrilled to see a Steam Engine arrive with tables laid with Cream Teas on our platform and the Penzance train arrive from London on the other platform. The train from London was called "The National Trust" which was very apt for our walk.
For some in our group it was the first time at Lanhydrock since the new cycle trails, restaurant and plant centre were finished.
We were lucky with the weather as it only rained a little over the last few miles.
A lovely day out. Thanks guys and gals!!
