A green elephant, a palace and a bridge with underground rooms, its has to be Blenheim and Woodstock!

Despite a forecast of constant rain, 6 GOC members including a new member and his very cute dog Morris, arrived in Woodstock ready to battle the elements.  We didn't see the sun but amazingly it stayed mostly dry with only the odd shower, allowing a quick, dry photo op by the famous Harry Potter tree.

At the lunch stop we had a great view of Blenheim Palace and the work to restore the bridge and its underground rooms.  The conversation flowed, Brexit negotiations, Covid-19 and Boy Friend TV (don't ask!), all got some air time. The walk ended with a wander down the impressive Woodstock High Street.
