16 of us met up in Dorking on a fine August morning. Robert Liston led us on this walk which initially followed the Mole gap trail before entering the Denbies Wine Estate which provided some excellent views.

Then we climbed slightly through mixed woodland providing a change of scenery and some welcome shade.

We had lunch in a field of Maize before heading off to a point just south of Leatherhead the most southerly point of the walk.

Then we rejoined the Mole gap Trail to follow it along the valley bottom to return to Dorking.

The walk was a little further than advertised but we were all revived with Tea kindly provided by Gordon and Neil  and various cakes kindly provided by other members of the party.

Thanks to Robert for leading the walk around this lovely area
