11 Miles of North Downs and Darenth Valley

A group of thirty-nine walkers and four dogs were ably led by Peter through varied landscapes with plenty of Spring vegetation in evidence, cowslips and bluebells in particular.

There were a couple of steep inclines to warm us and slightly slow down the usual animated conversation.  The day was a lot brighter than the weather forecast and although we did see some sun on our walk, the cooler temperatures were ideal for walking.

The exercise honed our appetites for the tea and cakes at the end of the walk.  Thanks to all of our bakers and marketeers for bringing cakes - there were so many contributors that I didn’t get all of your names!
