Solent – Test Valley Rails and Trails

A clear blue sky beckoned the 10 walkers to walk along the clear waters of the Test River as we criss crossed it several times. Taking in the views of the Test Valley yet mainly staying on easy flat paths, we walked by the Agincourt fields where the army of Henry V camped before departing for France.

Finally passing the almost perfectly preserved railway station of Horsebridge and after 7 miles we retired to the John O'Gaunt pub for an enjoyable drink.
