Westenhanger to Wye linear walk

Led by Robert on this fantastic warm and atmospheric autumnal day, a 10 mile linear walk (roughly) starting at Westenhanger station, across fields and paths towards Brabourne for a lunch stop at the church.  Then up and onto the beautiful Wye Downs with panoramic views reaching far to Romney Marsh and beyond towards Sussex.

Continuing along the North Downs Way to a landscape feature known as The Devil's kneading trough, and from there to the Wye Crown carved in the chalk hillside by students in Wye College in 1902.  Finally we descend down to the finish in the centre of Wye village.

A heart-felt thanks to Robert and Gary from everyone for planning such an excellent walk to see the views across the Downs along with all the glorious colours of autumn.
