Under overcast skies 17 of us plus one dog gathered at Stockbridge carpark near Tilford Green. The weather improved and we set off on briskly on the walk around Frensham Ponds and Bourne woods , led by James. I was very impressed with the views of Frensham ponds from the heath and James knowlege of the local area. We made made good progress over the varying terrain prior to pausing by the famous Frensham heights progressive school.
I think I only recall one hill before the lunch stop taken on a fallen tree, which provided ample seating for all as shown in the attached pictures.
We then returned to Tilford green through Bourne woods and Heathland enjoying impressive views along the way. An impressive selection of scrumptous cakes, including Neils fortified chocolate birthday cake were provided together with tea and coffee.
Many Thanks to James for leading the walk and for all those who provided cakes and refreshments on the day
