Dorset Group: Dancing Ledge 10 Dec 2017

A very wet and stormy night resulted in a smaller than expected turnout of 9 brave souls. Although we were spared any further rain we embraced storm force winds with gusts over 70mph on our cliff walk along the Jurassic coast towards Dancing Ledge.

Horrendous sea conditions prevented a descent down to Dancing Ledge but we managed to find shelter in Spyway Barn for a quick picnic and return in relative calm down the valley alongside Langton Matravers back towards Swanage.

Are efforts were rewarded by a hearty xmas tea back at our leaders house in Herston.
