After 10 highly successful years as Group Coordinator for South Midlands, Mark Parker has handed over the GOC flag to John Hambleton.
At the end of Sundays walk Ian thanked Mark for his excellent work over the last 10 years, establishing a regular monthly walk, organising several weekends away and bringing the AOG to Moreton in Marsh.  He said Mark had always made everyone feel welcome and included. Ian presented Mark with a lemon seedling and a small bottle of Gin spritz for him to enjoy in his “retirement” in his new conservatory. He also presented him with the substantial proceeds of a collection to mark his achievements.

Mark thanked Ian for his kind words, everyone for their support over the years and the generous gifts.  He then went to the pub to practice his gin drinking.
