<2>Appeal to help the Returning Officer
There are a number of important Resolutions at this years AGM. This requires a robust voting procedure.
Graeme Brown, GOC’s Returning Officer, has devised proper voting arrangements. Members attending the AGM who have not voted in advance will be issued a ballot paper at the AGM so they can vote on each Resolution. After voting they will be placed in a ballot box. Graeme requests help from two people to count and verify the ballot papers. The intention is to do this immediately after the meeting so the results can be announced at the end of the meal.
If you are able to help me please contact me, preferably before the AGM or failing that find me prior to the AGM.
Send me an e mail at [email protected] or a text on 07947515177.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Details about the resolutions and nomations to the committee were published on the website in mid June. As explained at the time, due to the low number of nominations for the committee there will be no vote to approve the nominees.
Information about the voting procedure, along with the necessary form to vote electronically, are to be found below.
