These are short rides exploring the many urban cycle routes in and around Bristol. They are designed for people who are new or returning to cycling and for cyclists who want to get to know Bristol by bike. They are therefore suitable for all cycling abilities. There may be the odd hill (difficult to avoid here!) but there is no rush and nobody will be left behind. Rides usually last for about 3 hours and generally include a pub or cafe visit for food and drink half way through or at the end.
Sunday greenbelt day rides (2nd Sunday of every month)
These are longer day rides and give us the opportunity to explore the fantastic countryside around Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire. They are probaby more suited to people who cycle more frequently; if you have any doubts then you can always join us for an evening ride or two and build up your confidence. These rides will also include a stop for food and drink along the way.
For all rides please remember to bring a puncture repair kit and preferably a spare inner tube or two. You will also need some money for lunch or tea, depending on the ride, and some water and snacks for the ride. We will always stop to help with any mechanical problems - nobody is ever left behind!
