Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.
We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
From Wolsingham we head north up the eastern side of the Waskerley valley, uphill at first before levelling out and then descending to join the eastern bank of Tunstall reservior. We then walk along the side of the reservior through woodland before crossing the bridge at the head and following the west bank to the picnic area where we will stop for lunch. There is then a section of quiet lane walking to the dam wall where shortly afterwards we again take to fields and woods before our return to Wolsingham. All in all an interesting walk with a good variety of field, woodland and waterside walking and some stunning views.
Terrain / Difficulty
A moderate walk and there will be some muddy sections
