Our Groups are up and running with their activities.   While there is generally no fixed maximum number of participants on an event, an event may have a limit in place based on it's risk assessment.   All events still require every participant to pre-book via the website.

General information

A walk without mud, stiles, gates or cattle. Instead we shall have towpaths, footpaths and paved ways along our circular exploration of  part of Birmingham's West Side from the City Centre to Edgbaston's Vale. We shall have the opportunity to traverse the broad avenues laid out in the 1800s and admire the grand villas of the movers and shapers as well as the homes of ordinary people leading ordinary lives. We'll pass the sometime homes of JRR Tolkien, Sir Alec Issigonis (automotive designer), WH Taylor (Ruskin Pottery) and the Birmingham painter Joseph Southall.
