A 10.5 mile circular walk from the pre-roman waterside village of Wheathampstead dubbed the "First Capital" due to a timeline going back 10,000 years. The walk will take you through opulent villages with historical churches and impressive properties some with award winning gardens. Enjoying the Eastern Chilterns with the river Lea winding it's way through the county and the impressive Red Kites and possible Buzzard. A short journey along a disused Victorian railway line. Local resident George Bernard Shaw (Nobel Prize of Literature) and famous Irish Playwriter was known to use the train line to reach London.
