A couple of steep climbs rewarded with tremendous views over the surrounding countryside from the top of the Downs. We walk from Kemsing village through to the Heaverham estate then up onto the North Downs. The steep slopes of the Downs are rich in orchids and other wild flowers during the spring and early summer months. If you have time before or after the walk, you might wish to visit the interesting Norman church and an ancient well in Kemsing close to the car park.
