Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.
We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
This months walk is a 9 mile circular led by Allan.
Leaving ripley village via the castle heading to Hollybank Wood and then Clint where we see the remains of Clint stocks and Clint Hall. Turning north towards Burnt Yates, crossing the Pateley Bridge road and arriving at Shaw Mills. We then head up Cut Throat Lane, circling back to Shaw Mills but picking up the Nidderdale Way just north of the village. Here we make our way to Hill Top Farm, Whipley Hall, High Rails, and past the castle grounds to return to Ripley village.
After the walk it's back to Allan's for home made cake 😉
Food & Drink: please bring a packed lunch and something to drink.
