This is a 12.00 Midday start to enable those using public transport more time to reach the venue as well as for those who don't get up that early. This is a leisurely amble where I will be pointing out various points of interest along the way with hopefully some things you didn't know about Warwick.

We we walk out of the town to the canal basin and cemetery and back via the racecourse and golf club to the town. Here we can take a break before viewing some quaint and historic streets and views near the river Avon and through St Nicholas park returning via Smith St back to the Market Square.

I would still advise walking boots or footwear appropriate to cope with walking on grass or non paved surfaces by the canal and across the racecourse.

I estimate this will take about 2.5 - 3 hours.

Places you can visit afterwards are, Warwick Castle, Lord Leycester Hospital, St John's house museum which houses the museum of Royal Warwickshire Regiment. The collegiate Church of St Mary which has many interesting features including a crypt and 15th century chapel and you can climb the tower 134 feet if you are up to it. Hill Close Gardens and the Market Hall Museum.
