Today we will walk an area of Kent that we know well, but may have passed by on many occasions.  It will be a shorter walk due to the expected warm weather at this time of year.  The river Little Stour is a peaceful but beautiful tributary of the River Stour.  It is about 9 miles long and starts near to the village of Littlebourne, before it joins the main river at Plucks Gutter.  We shall walk along it for about two miles on this walk.  The rest of the route shall be through fields and orchards, as well as passing through the settlements of Elmstone and Preston.
