The walk is approximately seven miles taking a circular route around Carnhell Green, Pendarves Woods and Trevithick Cottage. The main landmark included in the walk is the Giant Quoit: sometimes also known as the Giants Frying Pan or Careynnen Point. This famous landmark is thought to be about 5000 years old. It collapsed in 1996 and was reerected in 2014.
