The Elan Valley Trail
Of about five miles long, this is a beautiful linear walk downhill from Craig Goch Dam to the Elan Valley Visitor Centre on level ground with gentle gradients by the side of reservoirs and downhill passing dams.
Cars will ferry walkers to the top of Craig Goch Dam and at the end of the walk, these drivers will be driven back up to retrieve their cars.
The day starts at 10am with breakfast and a chat at the Elan Valley Visitors Centre. For those not requiring breakfast, the the cars will leave from the visitor centre at 11 am.
There is a kind invitation for drinks and food at the walk leader's house in Llandrindod Wells after the walk.
