A 9-mile moderate circular walk, using lanes, bridleways and road but (you’ll be pleased to know) not the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Leaving Tenby via Slippery Back we head towards New Hedges and eventually arrive at Saundersfoot. There we look at the £10 million harbour development taking place and discuss the changes before moving on to Wiseman’s Bridge via the tunnels.

Our journey then takes us inland along Pleasant Valley to see the remains of the 1866 Ironworks and Grove Colliery. Wandering back to the coast we see a pretty village called Sardis and views (hopefully on a clear day) across Carmarthen Bay of the Gower Peninsula and Worm’s Head.

There are plenty of hills in both directions, so if you struggle with them then miss this one out. Please wear comfortable footwear.
