Covid-19 - getting back outdoors
Our groups in England are now able to offer events, starting from the 18th of July, with a maximum of six participants on each event. To take part in any of these events you must book using the ticketed booking system. If the event you are looking at does not show ticket options it is either fully booked, or has not yet been set up to take bookings. Our Scottish and Welsh groups are still not able to run events at this time, but we hope this will change in the near future as guidance from the relevant governments is updated.
A moderate, 8.5-mile circular walk, starting and finishing at Horsham Station. In the morning, we will walk to Mannings Heath, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will join the High Weald Landscape Trail for our return to Horsham. Parts of the walk might be extremely muddy, depending on weather. Not particularly deep but very slippery. Anyone who owns walking poles might want to bring them, and don't expect to finish the walk with clean clothes!
Please bring drinks and a packed lunch for yourself. Wear clothes appropriate for the weather and terrain, including decent walking shoes if possible. Dogs are welcome if kept on leads whenever near livestock, on roads or requested by the walk leader.
