We are restarting some events with the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Currenly walks in England can take place. Walks in Scotland may take place with a maximum of 15 participants, but all participants (and walks) must stay within their own local authority area. Walks in Wales will restart from the 26th of April, with a maximum of 30 participants.
A 10.5-mile moderate, circular walk, over the stunning Cotswold Countryside around the chocolate box domiciles of Stow-on-the-Wold, Wyke Rissington, Bourton-on-the-Water and Lower Slaughter.
A couple of 10 minute leisurely chugs up inclines but nothing to cause a coronary, only the heart lifting, stunning vistas as a reward. The picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water provides a convenient lunchtime spot before we head out along the Windrush Way, over to Lower Slaughter and then onto Hyde Mill before ascending back up into Stow-on-the-Wold.
Terrain / Difficulty
Walking over field paths, bridleways and quiet country lanes. Some moderate inclines but not too steep.
