Covid-19 - getting back outdoors
Our groups in England are now able to offer events, starting from the 18th of July, with a maximum of six participants on each event. To take part in any of these events you must book using the ticketed booking system. If the event you are looking at does not show ticket options it is either fully booked, or has not yet been set up to take bookings. Our Scottish and Welsh groups are still not able to run events at this time, but we hope this will change in the near future as guidance from the relevant governments is updated.
Richard Dawes has suggested he would be interested in walks mid-week, which may allow those who can attend to walk when routes may be quieter.
This walk will be dependant on guidance in place at the time, and the number of attendees. W have added booking to this event in line with GOC requirements, please book if you plan to attend.
Currently groups are limited to 6 people, if we have more people who would like to attend, we will see if we can organise a second group.
Walk is about 7 miles around and crossing the marshes with plenty of opportunities to pause for bird watching of which there are many.
It can be windy and cooler than other places even on sunny days and it will be a packed lunch - possibility of a social drink afterwards at the Chequers or en route in Keyhaven.
If you would like to see more mid week walks, please let me know.
