Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.
We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
We will walking a linear route, following a section of the Ripon Rowel trail.
Meeting in Ripon, we will catch the bus up to Masham, then walk back to the starting point in Ripon.
Overall the route is fairly flat, as we will be following the path of the River Ure for the majority of the day. Highlights include Hackfall Wood, with its impressive follies, and Ripon Parks.
