Event Details

Restarting Events

Our Groups are up and running with their activities.   While there is generally no fixed maximum number of participants on an event, an event may have a limit in place based on it's risk assessment.   All events still require every participant to pre-book via the website.

General information

This a delightful seven mile circular walk around the lower Rhymney Valley through the villages of Draethen, Lower Machen and Cefn Mably and past Ruperra Castle.  Short climbs through dappled woodland reward the walker with panoramic views of the valley floor and the heritage of the area.

We start at the layby about a quarter mile before/past the Cefn Mably Arms in Michaelstone-y-fedw and there is a pub at the lunch stop in Draethen.
