Covid-19 - getting back outdoors
Our groups in England are now able to offer events, starting from the 18th of July, with a maximum of six participants on each event. To take part in any of these events you must book using the ticketed booking system. If the event you are looking at does not show ticket options it is either fully booked, or has not yet been set up to take bookings. Our Scottish and Welsh groups are still not able to run events at this time, but we hope this will change in the near future as guidance from the relevant governments is updated.
Easy 5 mile stroll visiting relics of the areas rich mining heritage along the way. Refreshments afterwards together with informal planning meeting at Mike's house nearby, so come along and bring your ideas and suggestions for walks to be included in the programme for the year ahead. Bring a packed lunch.
STOP PRESS Posted 4 Jan 2020
It looks like the weather will be kind to us tomorrow. I did a partial recce yesterday and there is minimal mud on the route. Please bring something waterproof to sit on, such as a bin sack, to use at the lunch stop. If all goes according to plan we should complete the walk by 2.15pm.
