Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until the end of April.
We will continue to review the situation with regard to events beyond April. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
Circular 5 mile moderately difficult walk on the western fringes of Dartmoor. A fairly steep ascent at the start of the walk. Route includes White Tor which at an altitude of 1500 feet provides excellent views. If poor weather on the day an alternative route avoiding White Tor is available. Bring a packed lunch. Refreshments afterwards kindly offered by Roger at his house nearby. Dogs on leads please.
Terrain / Difficulty
Over minor roads, footpaths and open moorland. Be prepared for mud.
