This is a substantial, but manageable, 9 mile circular walk taking in the beautiful Darran Valley, crossing open moorland and streams, woods, and places of historical interest with huge views. A more strenuous walk, climbing two hillsides, with several shorter ascends and descends over moorland paths, country lanes, and woodland tracks, as well as flat sections on tarmacked lanes, passing numerous kissing gates. A good walk for dogs with no styles to cross. The walk will take 5-6 hours to complete, depending on the size of the group.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a sufficient supply of fluids and food.
