Panorama Walk, Conham Vale and Magpie Bottom

Event Details

Restarting Events

Our Groups are up and running with their activities.   While there is generally no fixed maximum number of participants on an event, an event may have a limit in place based on it's risk assessment.   All events still require every participant to pre-book via the website.

General information

A chance to explore some interesting, less well known pathways and local nature reserves near Bristol.  There are extensive views, some industrial archaeological relics and you will be following in the footsteps of John and Charles Wesley, the founders of Methodism, who preached in this area in the 1730’s.

A fine example of a former C18 and C19 industrial area having been successfully reclaimed by nature.

Terrain / Difficulty

This is an easy to moderate figure of eight walk with a steep, stepped climb in the morning, to appreciate the views from the top. The paths are generally good, but there may be some mud in places. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Approximate Distance

6 miles
