Newborough Circular. Sunday,14th April,2019. Easy walk. Dog friendly.

A circular level walk in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Starting from Newborough Beach car park, we follow forest paths, before crossing the ancient warren. At low tide, we then cross a salt marsh to Abermenai Point. He we plan to take our break, whilst looking across the turbulent Menai Straits towards Fort Belan, built as a sea defence against Napoleon. We continue along the beach to our starting point.

Please bring a packed lunch and drink. Refreshment van should be on the car park, but not reliable.

EQUIPMENT. Boots and waterproof clothing.
