Coronavirus / Covid-19

Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.

We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government.  Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.

General information

An easy 10 mile walk including the National Memorial Arboretum, Barton under Needwood, Alrewas and what remains of medieval Wychnor.  We will walk along the Trent and Mersey Canal as the River Trent merges and de-merges over a weir! No hills but the tow path, fields and lanes could be muddy.  Bring a packed lunch and dress for the weather.  Toilets at the start and end.  Tea and coffee available at the end.

Easy and flat walk.
