General information

There is free entry to The Gardens on weekdays in January so this is an extra event to take advantage of that.

It has been classed as a social event as we will have a wander around the Gardens--there are supposed to be new trails from when we were last there 2 years ago.

Last time, we saw The Ghost Forest which is impressive and really interesting and which we can explore again.

There is a 2 mile walk which includes lots of relics of a former glory when the grand estate was in its heydey including the Pont Felin Gat waterfall which was closed on our last visit.

Boots/sturdy shoes recommended as it will be muddy in parts.

Depending on the weather we can spend up to 3 hours in the Gardens and then take a short drive to Llanrathne village for a late  lunch--see details below.
