On this walk there is one short climb from Mumbles seafront up onto Mumbles Hill and a few ups and downs on the coast path but in the main this is an easy walk.
The whole walk will be approx. 5 miles but
****for anyone going home today and just wanting a shorter walk, there is provision for people to leave this walk on route and find their own ways easily back to the start.
The walk will start in Oystermouth and we will walk along the seafront towards Mumbles.
A short but steepish path takes us up onto Mumbles Hill where there are fantastic views down to the whole sweep of Swansea Bay and out towards Devon and Somerset.
There is an interesting history relating to this hill which for obvious reasons was a lookout point duing the war and had large guns at various points.
We then come down to the Wales coast path walking passed Bracelet Bay and Limeslade before continuing to Rotherslade and Langland two lovely beaches.
At Langland we can come inland and make our way back to the start.
Bring a packed lunch.
