Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until the end of April.
We will continue to review the situation with regard to events beyond April. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
A coastal walk of approximately six and a half miles, beginning in the heart of Mullion village before heading off along the coast towards Gunwalloe, also locally known as Church Cove, due to the local church being located right on the beach itself.
Other places of interest on route include the Marconi Monument: a tribute to Marconi himself who produced the first wireless radio signal across channel. We also pass Carrag Luz (Cornish for Love Rock); another locally known landmark making the perfect spot for our group photo, especially for those bringing their loved ones .
One final place of interest located close to the start of the walk is Mullions own chocolate factory: Trenance, where we will be making a short stop.
Bringing suitable footwear for all weather conditions AND beaches is important as we will be walking on three beaches along the route. Bringing a packed lunch and drink is advisable. A though there are shops in Mullion Village where food can be purchased, these shops aren't immediately on route.
Terrain / Difficulty
The walk has some hills near to the starting point whilst heading upwards onto the cliff/coastal path itself.
