Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until the end of April.
We will continue to review the situation with regard to events beyond April. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
A 7 mile walk west of Bristol, through a country estate, farmland, woods and the Avon Gorge.
Promising fair views and a variety of terrain, there should be much of interest.
Terrain / Difficulty
This is an easy to moderate walk with a short climb in the morning, to appreciate the views from the top. The paths are generally good, but, as with most winter walks, there may be some mud in places. Well behaved dogs are welcome, however, they must be on leads for a short time through the deer park near the beginning of the walk.
