We walk through woodland on a good path to the summit of Shuttlingsloe. From here we have fine views in all directions, weather permitting of course. After that  it’s a steep descent to Wildboarclough. We continue across a sloping field following a gradual ascent up Oakenclough. Then it’s across open moorland on a grassy track and eventually on a tarmac road back to Trentabank. There is a pub nearby for drinks and snacks after the walk.
