Looe – Hannafore to Plaidy – Joint Devon & Cornwall walk

Event Details

Restarting Events

Our Groups are up and running with their activities.   While there is generally no fixed maximum number of participants on an event, an event may have a limit in place based on it's risk assessment.   All events still require every participant to pre-book via the website.

General information

This picturesque walk starts in Hannafore (West Looe) and passes through East Looe and along the coast to Plaidy, with views reaching from Looe Island to Rame Head.

The walk will be lead by Mike Hocking who was born and brought up in Looe, giving him local knowledge of the area.

Terrain / Difficulty

We start and finish on the level. There is a long, quite steep ascent which we will take our time with and pause frequently to take in the view. The rest of the walk is mainly level or downhill, with one more ascent after our picnic lunch at Plaidy.

Approximate Distance

5 miles
